Re: Haflingertreffen Nordamerika 2014

Some idle musing and ramblings about the PNW treffen this year. It's not looking good for me to make it this year either. As the Haffy Treffens shift north, it becomes more difficult to attend. I was shooting to try and pull off the Newport trip as a late arrival, but that was a stretch too. Unfortu...

Re: Posting Pics With a URL

Garry, The reason the image is huge and the website one isn't is that they have limited the size on the website. Basically, I just right clicked on the image you wanted, selected copy img url then came here, hit the img button and then pasted the url in between the two img tags. Hope this helps, -Br...

Not, yet, but i haven't hit any serious angles with it. It looks like there shouldn't be any problems.

Re: DOT ATV tire option?

http://www.gbcmotorsports.com/kanati-mongrel-p-216.html Mongrels maybe?.. See my link. I've seen Afterburns in person, and they have more tread then the pics show, but they really are a street tire. I've seen UTVs spin out on mildly damp trails with them. Roadkill, where did you find the wide Minil...

Re: DOT ATV tire option?

If your supply of ATV tyres that are DOT approved are not too expensive, why not buy 2, fit them to the standard rims and fit to front or rear axle as a pair. Take the Haf' for a drive and see. Putting them on the front will mean you can test how well they stay in place when you go round corners wh...

Re: DOT ATV tire option?

Here you go. Eu rated too.. and at 500lb per tire should be fine to run. http://www.gbcmotorsports.com/afterburnstreetforce-p-177.html As that is a road tread why not go for a standard 12" road tyre?? The issue I find is getting road legal offroad tread patterns. Cheers Garry That tread is ple...

A followup to this post. I'm currently in the process of fitting the DOT legal GBC Afterburn series which are 25x8x12 on minilight style wheels. I think I'll keep them on the "pretty" polycab.

Hmm my location shouldn't matter, but i am in North America. My polycab is late 60's. I am including a shot of one of the lenses for reference. Lucas or otherwise?
Thanks,

Polycab Front Turn Signals

Does anyone know where i can get replacement beehive style turn signal lenses for my polycab? Anyone know if it is a common shared part? I saw a bunch of beehive shaped lenses that looked very similar on Ebay.

Thanks!
