This one has done the rounds. Was on Ebay in aug 2012 and passed in not meeting the reserve.

Hi TGH, Definitely not Army as all Aust Army haffy's are 1966. Well definitely engine no blower the smoke. Brake condition Steering looseness. Basically any movable part will have signs of ware. just depends on how much ware and slop in the joints etc: Wheels don't look original but still look good....

It just goes to show that the market is around $15K for a working haffy and not the high prices some people expect.

Guys Dreaming, The highest price I've seen for a Haffy in the last 10 years is $25K AUD. And that was for an ex army one not civy. It is obvious the seller has Hi expectation with out the knowledge of the market. Maybe he got some advice from a "Y gen" as they do things like that. Brad.
