Ebay brake cylinder kits
Hi Does any one know if the Ebay kits from Belgium are correct fit for a Huffapuffa please? I’ve read that the rear wheel cylinders have a slot adjuster for handbrake adjustment. There is another Ebay seller, Swiss army vehicles in the USA selling wheel cylinders and master cylinders, are they bette...

Re: BMW Engined Haflinger
I remember seeing an Alfasud engined car back in the mid 80s and have also seen VW engined car. Probably also many little marine diesels around that would work. As an Alfasud tragic, ( currently 5 in stock) I'd love to find that car. The motor didn't stick out that far either. I think a major issue ...

Re: The forum is not free to run BUT you access it for free!
Hi, just read this, I haven't been on the site for ages. Rennlist.com has sections for members only.( I have a Porsche 928s4) When you pay you become an 'active' member , so no advertisements & allows access to stuff that I don't really know what, as I've always been a member. 928's are like haf...

Re: Fuel tank lining clogging line and carby
just did my motor bike tank with POR15 fuel tank kit. It is a different paint to the POR15 anti rust stuff. POR is also great to use with fibreglass if you want a flexible outcome. I've used it a lot over the years. One thing I find impossible is getting a good brushed finish, so now I just spray it...

the Pertronix Flamethrower coils are about $40, might get a 1.5ohm just to be sure, or will that cause other problems?

Re: What did you do with your Haflinger today?
Yep my fault!! any way sent email to Pertronix in Australia to try & buy the ignitor on its own. Might also get a coil from them. I put the ignitor in the same position as the points. so basically ignore the fitting instructions! At least i was able to set the points, though no feeler guage :-00...

Re: What did you do with your Haflinger today?
Yes , Petronix do say to check, so my issue not theirs. I don't have a multi metre down the beach where the Huffapuffa lives, I didn't really expect my coil to be out of the range, though I've yet to check that, so it still may be something else, however unlikely that is. However instructions are qu...

Re: What did you do with your Haflinger today?
Wet day so I thought I would finally fit the Petronix ignition, replaces the points. Close to worlds worse instructions, basically had to guess which way it fitted. Spin the engine, no start, but plenty of smoke! One fried module! It melted... Replaced points - Haffa starts! No idea why, maybe the c...

Re: Sacrilege
I use a piece of fake grass upside down, one advantage is that you can easily pull it out with the dirt when the weight gets down. Works a treat with the bodgy sides as well!
