Re: Dutch Haflinger "Treffen" Mai 2016
Nice to see you again this year ( I hope)
I'm looking for the most Haflinger populated Camping ground's around.
The Camping on the Flyer is extrem expensive I think. I get an offer for 115€ for the weekend, sleeping in my Pinzgauer ..
But if everyboby else is there I don't want to stay alone

Re: Where are the Continental Europeans?
Good evening, I'm one of them you searching for .. ;) Some of the points why the europiens are missing I think here are already listed. Most common cause is the language, of course Secound is the variety of possibilities to get informations on the german speaking part of the Internet. Third point is...

Re: Oil Filler - Crankcase Breather
I saw that Oli intake the first time open. ( 2 picture above)
are there any bypass holes where the oil can flow down to the
engine bottom ? if not I'm now undrstanding why I overfill the
engine sometimes after an oil exchange. Strange construction.

Re: Clean the dynastarters fieldwrapping
Yes I did.nearly I think you can't get it a 100% clean without disassemble it totaly. I use a smal screwdriver to pull off the thick coal parts from the windings and wires without touching them. next step I take a brush and clean the rest from strong dirt . last step is cleaning all with a brush and...

Re: 7th Dutch Haflinger Rally / Treffen
I'm highjacking this thread for a transportation Question. Is there somebody from Great Britain or Scotland who goes to the dutch treffen and Returns home via Birmingham (Warwick) ? There is someone who wants to buy some Parts and we try to figure out the easiest way to get them to the buyers place ...

Re: Clean the dynastarters fieldwrapping
I don't think any liqiuds are good to go here. The wires are wrapped in some sort of paper, and I think if that paper get's wet it dismantles. Best idea until now was to take a ragged brush and try to get rid of that greasy coal stuff without fluids. if that wont work I will give the soapy water a c...

Clean the dynastarters fieldwrapping
I swapped my dynastarter a few days before, because auf a squeal noise from the engine. In the end it was the Distributor, but that is another Story. I stripped the dynastarter komplete. Only left the fieldwrapping at it's place. In the area around the Starter coal everythin is coated with a thick l...

Re: Front drive joint lubrication
Hey John,
very good explaination. I do that Job for three times now, but I dont know exactly how much grease I have to put in.
The last 2 pieces I have done a 90g tube of grease in it. But I don't know exectly if that is enough.
