Re: My first born!
I'm 5'7" The top is just shade cloth and pvc sprinkler pipe. Light and reminded me of tinker toys! It could easily be made taller. seat is only an inch different in height than original, the comfort is much improved!

Re: My first born!
Where you at the Overland Expo a year ago, or so? Yes,the past 3 years, including the "mud"event! The Haffy is a natural in mud,I stuttled families around that were having a hard time crossing the muddy road. They said what do we owe you,I said beer is good! Came back to camp later to many ...

Re: Overload clutch for crawler gear
My '62 has the clutch ,really freaked me out the first time I heard it! :o Sounds like a ratchet wrench when you spin it around. Called Jim L., worried that I broke something, He laughed and said it was normal! 8-) I run atv tires and I was really pressing it up a sand dune at the time. Also I read ...

Re: Weber carb, weird slight throttle response after clean
I've cleaned both carbs on my 1bbl carb trucks, but it's been a while. But I think it's the main jet,to be changed w/cliamate and or altitude.
Simple carbs, the float issues seem to be the biggest headache (per Jim L. the U.S. Guru of Haffys)!

Re: Weber carb, weird slight throttle response after clean
The back bolt for the Weber is a bit oa PITA, I use a cut down wrench for that teeney bit of a turn at a time. Both of my Weber trucks tend to be a bit cold blooded until fill warm-up. FYI.

Re: My first born!
It's been so long. I just Googled custom wheel adapters and came up with a couple of companys. I gave before and after bolt patterns and they did the rest. Around 175.00 USD. Never had any regrets.

Has anyone "retrofitted" a low fuel light to a truck w/o one. Neither my '62 or '68 have one....

That's what I wanted! Thanks
John,
I have 2 trucks and was considering making one really nice truck, possible gearing differences would be part of it.

Towed it to our meeting/camping site near Quartzite behind our M-home. Wheels are from a Yamaha side by side using wheel adapters. The wheels are vary common and reasonable out here. Tires are knock-offs of Bighorns,12x7x25,very grippy, good offset, very stable compared to my other Hafs pizza cutter s...
