Re: 5th & 6th seats
As a commercial vehicle - seat belts are not required in the rear for vehicles of that era. Different if the Haflinger was classed as a passenger vehicle. Garry Garry My Haf is registered as a two seater, so to legally carry passengers in the back I would have to get an assessor to do paperwork to ...

Re: 5th & 6th seats
Dave When I have my rear seat re-made, the ingenious motor trimmer used seat belt "material" for the visible parts of the strap, but where the strap passes through the sleeve on the back of the seat is where he sewed a section of stretchy but similar profile strapping. I works well, althou...

Re: Front Seats - Alternatives
I love my seats which were in my Haf when I bought it. Very comfortable and great sideways support, as you would expect out of seats from a Porsche 914 !!

Re: One year later.
Wonderful to see another one close up for the first time. It was great and has given me lots of encouragement. You are lucky - I have had my Haflinger for 8 years this month. In all that time I have never seen another Haflinger on the road, and the only other one I have seen in the flesh was when I...

Surplus Spare Parts - in Australia
I have a lot of spare Haflinger parts that are surplus to my spare parts needs. They include - a rolling 1965 chassis with PTO output, an early model fuel tank in excellent order, an early model Weber carby and manifold, a set of 5 original Haflinger wheels with original tyres (one stray in the phot...

Re: Any one on here??
Several times here and on my Aust bHaflinger and Pinzgauer page, I asked if anyone is interested in another mini treffen some where on the est coast(where the majority of Hafs and Pinz are based. I got not one response. Here is a map of Oz with all known Hafs (yellow) and Pinz (purple) are located....

Re: Any one on here??
No I understood what you meant - your suggestion is certainly valid and piggybacking on another event maybe the way to do it. Though based on the registration numbers I could read, with the exception of Wojos and one other, all the hafs I looked as if they were local - so it would be good if Wojo c...
