carburettor repair manual

I purchased this carburettor manual from Dale at Haflinger Technik a few months ago, it is a repair manual for all carburretors fitted to steyr puch vehicles. The problem is it is printed in German, but with help from my brother over in the UK, we have managed to translate about 98% of the book to e...

weber PM 24

Hi Has anyone got a parts book that shows the Weber PM24 fuel pump and also the list of part numbers.
I have a 1965 parts book but that shows a Pm 26 pump, so I presume it will be in a 1962/63 book.

Re: Rebuild your starter solenoid when it goes wrong

I took the other 2 starter solenoids to work today, the electrician stripped and cleaned them.
It cost me an iced coffee, to get them repaired. well worth the expence.

Re: Rebuild your starter solenoid when it goes wrong

John,

Thank you for adding this rebuild guide, I will have to strip my solenoid as its hit and miss making contact
I have printed the guide and I will be using it as a reference. Yes the Haflinger.com gets a thumbs up from me.

Re: Engine bay wiring and parts

I spoke to Dale at Haflinger Technic, he advised they can be removed the cigar shaped parts are for radio suppresion and the square box
is a ballast resiter to give full power to the coil.

Re: weber pm 26

I have not started the Haf for about 3 months, I have replaced the military ignition with a civillian type. When I tried to start it after I had completed the install, it only ran for a few seconds on full choke. I checked in the top of the carb and I could not see fuel squirting from the 2 brass tu...

Re: Fan Belts and Tappet Clearances

Hi Garry
I have just started the change over from my military ignition system to a civilian system.
I will have a choice of different heat range of sparkplugs.
I had a look in the hand book for the point gaps - 0.4mm
It also says plug electrode 0.6 - 0.7mm
