Hi John.
I have a vacuum servo running off the inlet manifold, never measured the vacuum but the servo works very well.
Cheers Nigel

Re: Do you have a Tubby Haffie?
We bought a brand new Haf in 1972 and the base vehicle was platform, windscreen and two seats, everything else hood, doors, heater, even the fuel gauge was optional. Every vehicle was spec'd up to the customers individual requirements.

Hi Jim.
I'm not there but I would know that Poly Cab Haf anywhere! It belongs to John from Northumberland and he's owned it for years, It sports a front 'bull bar' which is what you can just see in the picture.
Cheers Nigel.

Re: Sorry to say - another nail in the SPD coffin.
I think all the development went in to the engineering side of things, the platform was just something to sit your a***e on and they had no interest in it, that's why they rusted so badly.

Re: Stone chip paint undercoat - where to apply it ...
Having had 2 brand new Haflingers many years ago I can tell you the panels were just painted with no stone chip protection underneath.
Sad News
I've just been told that Peter Ward has passed away. He was at the centre of all things Haflinger for many years until he retired and Dale at Haflinger Technik took over his business. He will be sadly missed.
