Re: Yokohama tyres from Japan

Good stuff,

I got 4 of them 6 months ago and delivered to work in 5 days. Not bad considering Aust Post take 4 days to deliver a letter 2 kms away.

I have not used them yet but they will be ready when I need them.

Re: Old club sticker

Hi Cullahan.

Is there any chance of getting a pic of the sticker square on. The one you put up is a bit off centre.

I can then photo shop and make a new image with a RHD unit and get some made if any one is interested.

Garry, Looks like the the green wire on 54 is the positive from the fuse box via the wiper switch. This green wire provides power to the park contact on the wiper motor and is un-switched from the fuse box. The black wire is switched Negative and the Red wire on 54d is switched positive to the singl...

No, I will not be buying any more at this stage. Too many bills to pay. Plus the Corowa NSW, Military Vehicle Do is on in 3 weeks so you never know what's at the swap meet to buy. I don't know how many more he has but I've book marked his page for future purchases down the track? Looking at the thic...

Well My tires arrived today. 5 Days from Japan How's That.
Takes AP longer to post a letter from Ballarat South to Ballarat North.

Very pleased. Only time will tell to know how they perform.

Re: 12" Road Legal Tyres (Again) - What are the Mayolas Like

If I like the set when they arrive.
I will do the same when I buy more, I will order 11 to make up the shortfall.
This gives me 4 tires for each unit that's going on the road plus spares for each.
Leaving me a set on road tires over.

I just hope in a few months he still has them.

Re: Air Filter / Oil Filter replacement

Hi All Just chased up some oil filters this week to send to Darwin. Ryco Australia don't make Z82 any more. The replacement is Ryco Z418. A bit shorter but still do the work. Ya! Same as my Mini Moke, saves me keeping stock of extra filters. I went to the local car Swap Meet on Sunday and picked up ...

I'm tiring to get one of my baby's going. Has any one here in Australia know a source of getting a replacement Dist Cap and Rotor button? I tried the local auto parts store and their statement (only available in Germany) If so, a part number would help. Otherwise it might be off to Scotland. Brad

Re: Australian Army Haflinger of Ebay- Snapped up by whom?

Rick, Thanks for the tip. It was good timing as AP was downsizing. Now I will repair the original front I've got from Wellington and place it, when and I restore the unit. Very little rush as well. Came complete but motor needs new rings etc, the usual stuff. I have placed pic's on my web site. Look...

Re: Australian Army Haflinger of Ebay- Snapped up by whom?

Guy's The rear motor cover is the ex army one and the tow bar is an ex army one. Had all the tool accessory brackets removed on the front and holes look welded up painted with brown spots. Even the holes for the TAC plates have been welded up on the front vent flaps. I believe it is an ex army one. ...
