Re: 7th Dutch Haflinger Treffen 2015
Thanks.
My truck has 40mph hubs, and it seems to be able to get to that speed on flat ground. A hill slows it down significantly.
I have a hard time imagining an extended road trip at that speed.
Your trip sounds like a nice adventure!

Re: Road trip in Australia!
The Rover is from a small independent outfit called Bear rentals. https://bearrentals.com.au/packages-the-grizzly/ I think there is a clause in my contract that prohibits me from going to Frasier Island : ) Frankly, I can not imagine letting a tourist take a truck off road at all, there is so much d...

Should be fun : )

Road trip in Australia!
Hello all, later in the month, I am going to have about of week of free time to drive from Sydney to Brisbane. As of right now, I have no set agenda, and am looking for ideas. I will be in a Land Rover 110 camper, so I would love to do a little bit of exploring. Would love to meet any Haflinger owne...

Re: Paint code for the Red common on NA Spec Haflingers
Great info. Thanks for sharing! The paint on the nose section is in great shape, and has buffed back to it's former glory, but I am sure it is still faded compared to new. The paint on the platform where I need to paint, has lived a harder life, I will try to get some paint made up to match there. T...

Paint code for the Red common on NA Spec Haflingers
Hello all,
Does anyone have a modern paint code that is a good match for the red that is common in Canadian Haflingers?
I would like to get some paint made up to cover up some rust repairs I have made.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Canadian Haflinger owners?
The Ontario title was presented to the DMV in Quebec, it had an error with the Vin number, and the description was odd, but I do not remember what it said. The problem started when the DMV could not find Steyr Puch or Haflinger in the computer system, that is when they got the engineer involved so t...

Re: Canadian Haflinger owners?
Where in Ontario are you? I have a Canadian spec Haflinger that I recently bought in Quebec (It is now in the Oregon where I live). It was originally registered in Ontario, and also had problems with the title. In the end, it took 9 months for the Quebec DMV to finally grant a new title and registra...
