Looking for a windscreen or frame to make my 1974 700APT roadworthy.

Alternatively, if anyone has had steel channel folded up then I could fabricate one.

Located in Melbourne.

Cheers

Hi Rob, I bought a windscreen with wiper motor and linkages that needed a small rust repair for $350 from The Italian Job in Oakliegh Melbourne. The owners do Haflinger Parts and wrecking and have several several of their own. I found them to be very helpful and personable. I think they had a few not sure. The one I got was brought back from one of the owners farm. Good luck Danny

Hi Danny,

Picked up a good straight frame from the Italian Job today.

Just have to cut a small section out which has rusted.

This is a lot better than trying to fix up a screen that looks like it has been rolled, straightened with a hammer and stick welded at 400 amps like the one on my 700APT.

The distortion is so bad that water pours past the windscreen rubbers !

One more step closer to a roadworthy.

Hi Danny,

I have bought parts from them before. Its funny how you forget what is on your doorstep.

Both guys crack me up, and very friendly if not too busy to spend time chatting. I guess the proof of their enthusiasm is that they both use Haffys on their farms.

Cheers, Rob
