My Hafi (Pathfinder) didn't come with them, and before I explore making (bodging) my own, I figured I'd look for a pair.

Anyone have a set, or leads as to where to get some?

I am after a pair of the same as I expect are a number of members. I know a number of companies in the UK who are very good at making hood sticks, perhaps we could do a survey to judge everyone's needs and make a bulk order.

I might have a couple , but postage would cost more than making them

Just so happens my side tubes are off the car so here are some pics.

Overall - zoom in to see scale - but there are a mm or two just under 79cm long

The windscreen end - note the bar is lying flat and end in turned in and twisted to account for the slope of the windscreen.

If you cannot see measurements you need let me know. You might need to save and zoom but it is still a but hard to see.

I would get some tube and cut it longer than needed and make the roll bar end first and then using the vehicle windscreen as the guide band the front end to fit - needs to be tuned in 90 degrees but also twisted to take into account the slope of the screen - basically the bottom of the edge of the bar needs to be a few mm longer than the top of the bar.

However I would have thought places like Haflinger Technik would have them

Hi Garry,

Thanks for the photos, very, very useful. I did check out Haflinger Technic but alas they have none.

How is the old ACT? I use to have to go to Canberra quite often to meet various Federal Govt advertising committee members. I lived in Sydney from 1986 until 2009.

Cheers

Those pics are super! Thanks Garry!
That bend at the "roll bar" end is pretty aggressive. I am planning on (attempting to) make a pair out of EMT (conduit) and see what happens.

Mike,
My apologies for the delay. I can supply an original pair from a Pathfinder. If interested, please contact me through the NWMF website listed below.
Take care.
