rubber seal

Post by ogdenenterprise »

I require a new rubber seal( part no.41) that fits on the top of the air deflector plate (no 40) and seals to the blower cowl (no 1)on page 1 25/0 of the parts book as mine is getting worn. has any one got a new one that they wish to sell or advise where I could get one.

Dave,

I would assume one of the European suppliers would have such a thing. But obviously it will cost a small amount but postage and handling will add to that....

Possibly, Dale at Haflinger Technik has it.

Can't you make a replacement out of felt or several layers of gasket paper? I would not have thought it has to deal with oil, only heat and stop air blowing past it.
