Highest mileage Haflinger?

So I put another 46 miles on Lurch today and had to fill up before getting to far. I am recording the mileage and fuel use in order to work out the MPG.

That got me thinking when I wrote down the mileage:- 29,392

What is the highest mileage on a Haflinger?

I don't suppose any have "gone round the clock", but there ought to be some with higher mileage than Lurch.

Even 29,000 is quite a lot I'd have thought?

FWIW, mine currently show ...

• 1962 - 15,499 miles
  1970 - 13,280 miles
  1972 - 15,000 miles (approx)

I do have a Polycab (with no body or chassis attached) in the barn, and the speedo in that is showing 40,543 miles. I think it dates from ~1971

Mine has 57,000km (36000m) on the speedo.

My bantam has been flipped once (in KM) and is now at 17,xxx. She has had the pistons, cylinders replaced twice, and the heads rebuilt twice prior to my ownership. Just recently the entire motor was rebuilt with another set of pistons and cylinders (this time 1500cc VW parts). The heads this time were also rebuilt with larger valves from a BMW and was mildly ported and polished.
The most recent work was done by Leo Castiglione out of California.

Now those are some impressive distances to have traveled at 40 mile per hour! Does any one want to do the maths to work out how many years some one has sat in their Haflinger at 40mph?

I bought mine from the 1st civilian owner who had if for 15 years and drove it regularly, both on his farm and to run errands around town. Considering it is a bantam he must have put all but a few hundred KM's on it.
