G,,day , I found these figures while looking for something else .

1960 - 1966 , 300 units including 50 to the army in 1966
1967 - 1971 , 350 units
1972 - 1976 , 250 units

just thought you might like this bit of information .

cheers,

Any idea why many later models sold as APs are actually APTs. My 73 Haffie is designated a AP but has the full APT kit fitted. The build sheet does not indicate this gear was an option so was part of the original build.

Cheers

I do not know for sure .
but I presume its the way Barry ordered them from Austria .
if my memory is right , they all came in in CKD form . (complete knock down )

Hi Kerry, those stats are slightly different from those shown on Constantin's website - see http://tdc.haflinger-4wd.com/literature ... -sales.pdf

Hi Kerry, I'm not doubting any figures - just trying to understand them. :D

I wonder whether, for example, some of Barry's figures include vehicles that he made up from CKD and then shipped out to some of the "Diverse" locations - the pacific islands etc?

Kind Regards,

Julian

I realise that mate .
my info comes from paper work from Barry when I was looking at purchasing his business .
the figures may be rounded off to an amount .
but there is a fairly big difference between the figures .

I don't know , I just presume the numbers from Barry Jones are correct .
as he was quoting them in information regarding the sale of his company .
not the place to make up numbers . I presume he had paperwork to match .

I do not know if any were sold off shore from Australia .

cheers,
kerry

Kerry,
Any idea roughly how many of the units sold into Australia would have been LWB?
