Does anyone else have a LWB?

Post by mqh00n »

just wondering how many lwb models are still alive in Australia, what are they worth in good condition??
Mine has a full aluminium canopy on it that looks like it should be there, a very nice built thing.

Nigel,

Did you see the post Gary made about the auction of 3 Hafs? At least one of those was a LWB.

I have a 68 LWB nearly fully restored , I paid $4500 for it, I haven't kept any records on what I have spent on the rebuild but estimate $8000 - $10000 so far. I have no intention to sell it, but do you think I would get my money back.?

If the restoration is good, and the advertising is wide, I think you could.. Ebay just had the '64 SWB go for $16000.
