LWB weight

Post by Julian B »

Does anyone know a reliable weight figure for a 1970 LWB 703AP Haflinger? The only thing I can find is 580kg "Weight (Standard design, ready to start approx)" in an early Maintenance Manual, but I _think_ that this is for a SWB.

It is a civilian version, with short sides, 4 doors & a full canvas top. The trailer that I would like to use has a max available load weight of 770kg, but I _could_ put the canvas & doors in the tow car if needed. The 770kg could ignore the metal ramps, so I'd like the Haf to be well under this figure

I am looking for an empty weight, not max all up load figure.

TIA

Julian,

I used Lurch to take stuff to the scarp man and empty weight (inc all my rubbish) came in at 830KG - but as I say that still had all sorts of things - so an empty LWB will come in under the 770KG limit of your trailer.
