Hello all, new bloke here....
I thought I'd introduce myself - I'm Adam
I live in the UK in Oxfordshire. I have an interest in eastern european cars and have owned a Tatra 613 and a T75.
Currently commuting on a BMW R1100GS and trying to build a woodedn car called an AF.
The problem is I have eyes bigger than my garage and the desire for a Haflinger has got to me so here I am.

Hi Adam,
So have you got pictures of this wooden car?
A Haflinger is relatively small compared to some other vehicles, so depending on how big your garage actually is, you might find you can fit two vehicles in it! Unfortunately, finding a suitable Haflinger is not going to quick and likely quite expensive. There have been a couple on Ebay this year that have been complete and a couple that have been basket cases, so depending on which end of the scale you are looking. Having said they have been complete, I would bet they required a fair amount of work to make them roadworthy and reliable.
You can but keep looking.

Hi Adam and welcome to the forum. Most people with an interest in haffies will also have an interest in other old vehicles so please post up pics of what else you have or are working on.

Ok, now I know what sort of vehicle you are building - what engine are you going to use? I have seen those with anything from Citroen 2CV, Matchless V-twins, Moto Guzzi V-twins, Honda CX500 V-Twins. I am sure there are probably a number of other engines that could be fitted.
It's looking good - At least being wood, you don't have to have any really specialist tools and when some thing isn't quite right - it's another piece of wood and try again.
