engine & gearbox now sorted

Post by ogdenenterprise »

I have eventually sorted all the gremlins with the gearbox  , so apart from the doors ,framework and canvas that need manufacturing everything works, I will send the Haf back to the painters to finish little bits that have been missed and marked during the rebuild :D .

So where are all the pictures of the gearbox issues? We need know the places where the issues occur and where to extra care etc.

As said already, It is looking very nice, but now you need to run it in.

Is looking very nice indeed - fully rust proofed I hope - I have lived in Cairns and I know how damp the place can get.

Also - what coil have you got on your engine?? I need to buy one locally and I want one that I know will work in the long term.

Cheers

Nice work Dave. A very meticulous restoration. I hope you don't hit any problems with the QLD registration authorities like Kim has. Rick

Hi Gary, my Haf has the threaded type coil fitted which is different to the civilian type.
