Reproduction Dataplate & Placards

Post by Julian B »

I fitted a new reproduction data plate to my 1962 Haflinger today, as although I have the original one it is in very very poor condition. I also fitted some new 4WD, Diff Locks & Choke placards, which pretty much completes the restoration. I thought others might be interested to see how nice they look.

I obtained them through Steve H in Canada (who is HaffyHunter on this forum) who has had a few made; if anyone needs any you could do a lot worse than ask Steve to see if he has any in his cupboard. He has obviously gone to a huge amount of trouble to make them as close as possible to the original plates - a real perfectionist! 8-)

Hi Julian,
Thanks for the kind compliments. I shant share your post with my wife as my "perfectionist" (maybe OCD) character with all things Haflinger doesn't carry over to household duties and that drives her nuts  .
As I've mentioned before, your truck looks fantastic! Keep up the good work and find another Haflinger to restore.
Cheers,
Steve
