I am on holiday in the UK at the moment. my son and my self went for a drive up to Scotland to look at a Lwb Haflinger in a museum which has an original canvas hood. The haflinger belongs to Dale at Haflingertechnik ,while we were in the area we called to see Dale at his new premises, the last time I visited was about 10 years ago when he was operating from the old Lanark buildings.
While we were there I asked about Maloya tyres, he said he only had 3 or 4 left ,but he said if l could wait for a few months they were trying to get some of the original semperit tyres re-manufactured, so those of you wanting new tyres it might be worth while waiting.

Re: New tyres
That would be good news - especially if he was able to get the Semperit style tyre made to a modern radial construction.

Re: New tyres
Hi Walt,
The Semprit tyres being talked about are the Semperit 165-12 "Universal-Grip" which are on the link Julian posted above. It is possible to buy tyres that look very similar but do not have the "snipe" in the tread block made by Mayola. There are some listed on Ebay.com if you want to have a look.
