Hi

Does any one know if the Ebay kits from Belgium are correct fit for a Huffapuffa please?

I’ve read that the rear wheel cylinders have a slot adjuster for handbrake adjustment.

There is another Ebay seller, Swiss army vehicles in the USA selling wheel cylinders and master cylinders, are they better.?

Or am l better off going the old Volkswagen Wheel cylinders and bigger master cylinder route, as posted in this forum?

thanks Nigel

The brake cylinders on a Haf changed a little bit during the production life. Originally wheel cylinders were 15.87 diameter all round, but in order to improve braking when performance increased, they were increased to 22.20 diameter on the front hubs and left with 15.87 on the rear.
The rear cylinder are exactly the same as the front with just the same size slot. The hand brake lever does not go in to the wheel cylinder piston slot, but has as stepped abutment plate which moves both brake shoes when you operate the handbrake.

The smaller wheel cylinders on the rear wheels are there because there is no load bias valve as in modern flat bed vehicles.
