Wheel nut torque

Post by Ranger1 »

I have been canvassing fellow Hafi owners regarding the correct torque for the wheel nuts. I cannot find anything in the two workshop manuals but am told that the Operators manual suggests 50ft/lb or 68nm. This has been supported by the Lancashire mafia. So unless anyone else has any more informed suggestions it looks like that is what it should be.

For Pinzgauer owners the torque is 180nm.

According to the littérature for the M14 it’s 7 mkp so 68,64 Nm. In general I apply a bit upper value because it sounds to me a bit low
