After much research and talking with a few different tire manufactures, I purchased a single GBC Mongrel 25x8x12 10 ply version, to test fit on my Haflinger. The fit looked great, so I purchased the remaining 3 and put them on the vehicle last night.

Here are a few pictures for those interested, purchased from 2wheel.com, pretty cheap and DOT approved for us in the US. They don't stick out past the chassis and are very smooth on the road, once it stops raining I take it out again.
