Finally getting round to rebuilding the engine after stripping it because of oil leaks . I have got as far a tightening the fly wheel., has anyone got a good photo of the fly wheel holder so I can make some thing to hold it or a suggestion as to how to hold the fly wheel when I torque it up. When I stripped the engine I put a ratchet strap round the casing and secured the casing to the bench to hold the engine . I have torqued the double pulley up , but with the torque setting being a lot higher on the fly wheel, it means I can,t put a spanner on it to hold that end to stop it spinning.

Ok, this is very simple..........get a short double box end wrench(I use 1/2 7/16" combo) and put 1 end over one of the mounting studs, secure with nut, and the other end bolt to flywheel with pressure a plate bolt
