I am in the process of fitting some new points to my 1970 Series 2 LWB Haflinger; surprisingly it looks like it is a Series 1 distributor in that it has the two part points rather than (AIUI) the later one part version in the Series 2 distributor.

I read in a July 1962 Workshop Manual that the gap should be set to 0.16" (0.4mm). Does anyone know if this is correct for all distributor versions?

TIA

Julian
