Inlet manifold

Post by bernard callahan »

Spent a couple of hours removing rotted out heat exchanger pipe and bronzing in a new piece of pipe. Ready to go again. Will give it a clean and some paint.

That's weird, I had to fix the other side of the Carb manifold block on Lurch a few weeks ago... Wonder why yours went on the left hand side and mine went on the right hand side - would have expected them to fail in the same place, either left hand side or right hand side!

Still, at least your one stayed nice and straight, my one end up being at a slight angle and so I altered the other part of the pipe, rather than have to arrange to make use of Julian's Oxyacetylene kit again.
