Im just in the final fine-tuning phase of a resortation project that has taken about 2 years. Its a 1954 model Puch RL125, 3 speed 2-stroke scooter. This is an early example of the type. This was a full restoration. These were quite common in Australia in the 50's and 60's, with dealerships scattered across the country.Thankfully these are sought after in Austria, and so there are specialist parts suppliers with a good supply of reproduction and NOS parts. A nice but related distratction from Haflingers...

Wow Rick! What a gorgeous piece of work you've done on the RL125. I've never seen one of those before, they are way more stylish than a Vespa.

Thanks again Steve. Yep, they do look very cool, nicer in my eyes than a Vespa or Lambretta. I first saw these when visiting the Puch museum in Graz. They took my fancy, and then was pleased to find out that Australia was an export destination. Even the Australian army had a few, but for what purpose I don't know. Thanks! Rick
