I'd rather have a Haflinger

Saw this vehicle announced for delivery later this year.

Seems very little improvement on 1960's technology. I'd still rather have a Haflinger. (If only)

What improvements would you suggest for a Haflinger for the present day.

Would need more power, so probably a slightly bigger engine, different gearbox to give better on road speed but with low ratio for off road work. Lees drag from the whole transmission than the original Haflinger.

A side by side UTV is basically a modern Haflinger. The forward control format of the haflinger allows it to carry more volume of cargo but does compromise offroad like all forward control vehicles - UTVs have less cargo volume but have better suspension travel - a little less ground clearance.

Pros and cons for both but to me the UTV is the modern version of the haflinger concept.
