Very nice, as you say a it on the big side! In the UK if you have a "Fire Engine" which is in full working order you don't have to have an MOT even if it is of an age to require one. Also a bit too thirsty for me in todays economic climate.
Are they going to turn it into a camper? I dare say there is a lot of open space in Australia where the offroad capabilities of that beast would be required.

He took it for a road worthy and he had to remove the blue hazard lights and a couple of other bits, he did mention about converting it.
