Regarding the CV joint boots...split boots?

Post by Czechsix »

Wild stab in the dark here, but has anyone sourced split boots for the CV joints?

I've come across some that are close, dimensionally. They might help stave off some contamination, at least for a bit until I get the bits to do a full front end tear down and rebuild.

If anyone has found specific ones that work, please let me know.

Sorry, I don't know of anything other than the ones you get from the various suppliers at obviously premium rates.

John

p.s. Let us know what you have found, vehicle, year etc as there are bound to be others who would replace theirs if they knew where to get them from....
