I have removed the gearbox again as I could not select 3,4 & 5 , I have checked everything and all looks ok,
my only concern is the position of the selector lever at the top of the gearbox tower, when it is in neutral and in the lower position it looks very close to the side of the tower and it looks as if it will hit the casing when 5th ? gear is selected. Has anyone any photos of the tower selector in different gear positions.(photo of tower, gearbox in neutral).I had a new bush made for the vertical selector shaft which was tight so the up and down movement was sticky . I have sorted this and it is now nice and smooth .
Dave.

Re: selector tower
Hi Dave,
Have the shift forks been adjusted properly on the shift rods using the transmission jig?
