Engine bay wiring and parts

Post by ogdenenterprise »

I mentioned on a previous post, I was s changing my military type ignition system to a civillian one.
Ive checked the parts book and a australian army parts book for electrical parts for the ignition system but it
does not show all the parts that are fitted to my existing ignition system.
Has any one got a diagram for the parts or know what they are.

I'll see if I can dig up my old notes, but are you trying to figure out what the components shown in the pics are? Or are you looking for a listing of all the parts?
Swiss 1963 700AP, Weber 32ICS carb, electric fuel pump, Black Diamond XTR 25x8x12 tires, Pertronix, civilian ignition and regulator system conversion, extra fuel filters, 4 point belts, NATO 3 color camouflage, Cobra CB radio, battery cut off switch

Hi,

I am changing over to a civilian ignition system from a military shielded system.
I would like to know what parts and wiring can/cant be removed.

I spoke to Dale at Haflinger Technic, he advised they can be removed the cigar shaped parts are for radio suppresion and the square box
is a ballast resiter to give full power to the coil.
