Rear seat doors/lids
Rear seat doors/lids
Can any one help me. Are the hinges for the rear seat doors/lids welded on top or below the panel?
Cheers

Doug,
Sorry to not have seen this earlier, you will have been waiting to get on with the welding , but can't till you know the answer to your question!
Well, you can get on with things now!
Welded on top if Lurch's lids are anything to go by!

Re: Rear seat doors/lids
Hi Doug,
I don't know if this will help but I trimmed the end of the pin with a cut-off blade on my angle grinder and punched the pin out to remove the lids.

The hinges are spot welded and are a pain to remove. I used a spot weld removal tool.
Removing the hinge just like Doug Lennox said.
