We need to know which region to select as the link you posted on takes us to top page of the web site which covers the whole of France.

Have you hit the "DONATE" button at the bottom of the page after reading this post? Many thanks if you have!!

Well, either I totally thick or the web site is useless!

I get as far as the map with the blue regions to click on. I can click on one, then get presented with a search box system along the top. Items for sale showing as a list below. I can scroll down the list of items and get he next page etc, no problem.

If I attempt to put "Haflinger" in the search box and choose a region etc, the moment I click search - it takes me back to the front page!

So I thought, maybe you need an account. Click on create an account - has lots of mandatory fields like:- Address - in France, no option for an address outside of France. - What a useless site!

So I gave up!

John, it is a bit of a dog of a site, but this works for me ...
  • go to http://www.leboncoin.fr
click on any department on the map (turns from blue to orange)
type (say) "Haflinger" in the first grey box (just below ACCUEIL) and change the third grey box to Toute la France
click on the orange CHERCHER button

Bon!

On the nose, Just tried using IE and it works - what a useless site! The French were one of the countries that objected to Microsoft integrating IE so tightly into Windows. Then they have a web site that doesn't work with Google chrome....

Still now all I get is horses... will have to tweak my search parameters.
