Is this guy on drugs? Or is this resonable, working on a few haffys sitting in a blokes back yard and i was going to offer alot less than this, so am i a tight ass?

I was thinking the same - based on recent sales and non-sales I would have said $3-$4K

I agree with Gary, 3 to 4K. around 6K for a going one. Still a lot of work to be done to get this one going.

The things obviously damaged or missing + things that will need replacing before the vehicle is considered being roadworthy are pretty huge. New Dynastarter..complete engine tin, governor, carb.. Cha-Ching!

Very weird - it looks in one of the pictures that it has the PTO flap behind the driver seat, but the still has the foot well....

No photo close up on that side to confirm or deny.

Was relisted at $3k AUD and buy it now at $5K AUD. Not surprisingly did not sell.

So is now relisted again not cheaper to tempt buyers but now $4k AUD more expensive - now $7K AUD starting price and buy it now $9K AUD.

Wishful thinking I think - but if these wrecks do go for these sort of prices than that has got to be good for current owners and resale values for reasonable runners.

Was this one of the Broken Hill clearance sale vehicles that sold at auction a month or so ago.

What happened? Did he lose it? Or did it break whilst he was moving it?

If he was testing the waters to see what sort of price it would go for, I think he decided it was below what he paid for it!

Do you know if he had any bids on it when it was listed with the lowest start price?

As far as I am aware there have never been any bids for it. Maybe someone made him a private offer that he has accepted.

This one has just appeared on UK ebay - looks in good condition and comes with extras.

Kinda pricy though.
