I know nothing! Other than to have been told of their sale.

I think the asking price needs a strong dose of reality, but to be fair to the vendor he is doing little more than putting his finger in the mid. I'd be interested to learn more about the Royal Navy Haf, but won't be bidding on either ...

It's only 5 Grand a piece, unless you say 7 Grand for the better one and 3 Grand to the skeleton.... Doesn't sound so bad put that way, although the amount of work that will have to go in to one or both is huge.

The biggest problem is the perceived "Rare" monica that is attached to Haflingers. I know it has a smidgen of truth to it, but translating Rare in to money is always difficult.

Looking at the photos I'd suggest GBP 3.5k and GBP 1.5k was more realistic; the Royal Navy ones are indeed rare, but the uphill task is finding someone who specifically wants one and is thus prepared to pay a premium.

Hello,

did somebody save the photos? I can only see one image of the Navy Haflinger, possibly because the offer has ended.

Thanks and kind regards,
Constantin
