This is the Haf ,I got the measurements from ,to do the replica tail board in the body and paint- tail board thread. I think it has had a new rear foot well replacement as the old one was rusting out. There was a SWB advertised in Lismore NSW recently for $300 it has since been sold , any one know where it went?

Bugger - would have been good for parts - I assume if it was that cheap it would have only been good for parts.

The owner of the Haflinger for sale in Cairns ,texted me to say it has been sold and it is going to someone in Adelaide.Keep your ear to the ground we might have a new member for the forum.

Thanks Garry for pointing out the Melbourne listing. This is owned by the fellow who helped rebuild my 63 engine with forged high compression pistons. He stikes me as a perfectionist, so I expect his Haflinger to be excepional. The $25,000 price may seem high, but I certainly would not sell a completely reconditioned Haflinger for much less. In fact I think this is the best one Ive seen hit the market for as long as Ive been paying attention- but Ive not seen it in person.

Is this owned by the owners of the Italian Job or the other gentleman in Melbourne who used to work at at the assembly plant in Melbourne and acquired all the spare parts? I understand he does good engine work.

Hi Garry

Its owned by David at Black Mamba Racing in Melbourne- he makes racing exhausts and I believe made the SS exhaust system for this Haflinger. He was assisted by Tony ex-Haflinger Sales and Service. David also sells the 'Call of the Wild' DVDs occasionally on eBay. He and Tony rebuilt my 63 engine using hand forged high compression pistons. Very nice work.
