Brad,
There should be an number on the vertical face of the gearbox flange on the drivers side. That (unless the bodywork / drive gear has been changed) is the same as the chassis number.
The engine number is hidden behind the engine pulley wheel and the governor on a vertical face. If you need photos to show you where to look, say so and I will post some.
