Shipping will not be too bad for that.

Here in Aust we have the unofficial Australia Tax where local suppliers substantially increase the price - in some cases it is cheaper to buy Australian made goods overseas and ship them back than it is to buy locally. Local suppliers dont seem to understand that we now live in a global market - yet they continue to cry to buy local when they are ripping us off.

Cheers

Garry,
Looks like the the green wire on 54 is the positive from the fuse box via the wiper switch.
This green wire provides power to the park contact on the wiper motor and is un-switched from the fuse box.
The black wire is switched Negative and the Red wire on 54d is switched positive to the single speed contact of the wiper motor.

My color diagram explains it all.
Color diagram of the wiper CCT.

I'm looking for a single speed motor myself as my ex army haffy did not come with one. MIA they say.

Even with your insane import tax policies, this should be affordable and it is brand new.

Thanks Brad - my wiper is parking now so must have been just a dirty joint or poor earth.

Jim - Aussie import tax policies are OK - no taxes involved - the issue is the rip off prices for shipping from the US or the inward looking US sellers - many of which will not send outside the US so we don't have access to these sellers.

Dismantling the mechanical bit to take the wiper motor and bracket off the windscreen is just down to taking off two circlips and three 8mm bolts. Make sure you take a photo or label the wires going the motor obviously......

I'd love to see the photo of the wires going to the motor. My wiring looks original, but someone as feed the wires towards the motor incorrectly. So that when I folded the windscreen down, the wires pulled off the motor!! I can't seem to get them correct.

Any help appreciated.

Ok - looks as if you have black and green the wrong way around.

Just checked mine.

With screen up, sitting in drivers seat.

Left is Red, Center is Black and right is Green.
