Re: New Ebay Aust Listing - Tell him he is dreaming
"l don't intend to lose money on this vehicle" .....if only that were true for all my previous vehicles! :) I just sent the seller a message asking about the PTO and what if anything it drives. I have a PTO on mine too but no lever or floor cut out (someone did a gearbox swap in the past)....

Re: Seat belt question
Thanks John,
So I think I have simply got my seat belt brackets flipped the wrong way. Doh! Retractors should fit as per your photo then. Thanks!

Seat belt question
Hi all, I want to fit 3 point seat belts to my haflinger. I can't see how a retractor belt will clear the seat frames so looking at adjustable non-retractor belts. Could anyone measure the length of the lap/sash strap so I order the correct one? **SHORT 1865mm **STD 2165mm, **LARGE 2565mm, **XLARGE ...

What about if you make the documentation forum only available to members who have donated?
Also other forums also have different "search" allowances based on membership. eg 1 search per minute for guests, 1 per 10 seconds for members.

Here's another photo I took showing the PTO lever. The dash, ignition key all match. Cheers

Re: And another - rare in Aust
That's my photo I emailed to Constantin. The original ebay winner was definitely in Australia - I did email him once not long after the auction.

Re: And another - rare in Aust
I've stared at those gumtree photos and ones I took in 2008 in Bungendore of a haflinger that was meant to be an ex-Action Buses street sweeper (Canberra's bus company). I obviously didn't win that auction and I recall it went to the north coast of NSW. It's been tidied up a bit since my photos but ...

Re: Speedometer - how to remove the front bezel & glass?
Mine came up pretty well in the end! I used some metal polish on the chrome bezel while it was apart. Go easy with the polishing - the bezel is pretty flimsy when not attached. https://c5.staticflickr.com/8/7207/27540122780_7bf37f8236_c.jpg IMG_20160618_174718 by pureredcordial , on Flickr --matt

Re: Speedometer - how to remove the front bezel & glass?
Agree! Once I got a little screw driver in there, I held it still and rotated the gauge around face down on some old carpet. Did that quite a few times to open it up enough to get the glass out.... and left no finger prints on the inside

Thanks. Round and round and round with a small screwdriver worked fine.

Re: Speedometer - how to remove the front bezel & glass?
I'll try buffing some more first - in my case I think the glass is pitted.

Re: Speedometer - how to remove the front bezel & glass?
An old thread...but were you successful in prying off and re-using the bezel ring? I want to swap the glass between two speedos I have.
thanks

Re: Vents
Restorable. Bit of rust on the inside. Looks ok from the outside - there is a pinhole as pictured. There is only 1 spring. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7306/27025884205_7c5d59b66c_m.jpg IMG_20160515_144752 by pureredcordial , on Flickr More at https://www.flickr.com/gp/pureredcordial/UMV993 Let me...
