Re: Replacement Clutch

Checked there, cost is 244.80 Euro's for the pressure plate and 89.70 Euro's for the clutch plate and 39.90 for the withdrawal ring. Then went to, http://www.zf.com/corporate/de_de/products/services/services.jsp . Found all the parts there, cross referenced with https://www.teiledirekt.de/ and found...

Replacement Clutch

Can anyone advise me where I can purchase a new clutch kit complete, Looking at what I have and have come to the conclusion that a new clutch complete would save me a lot of drama's. I have looked at a lot of different suppliers and different EO codes and thought the best way is to find out off some...

Re: Good motor for sale on ebay AU

Certainly went beyond what I could afford, looks like a rebuilding project for me, fortunately I have been able to source most major components here or out of Ebay Germany. Now for the time with engine engineers and getting the right bearings for the crankcase. Anyone know a supplier of Sachs clutch...

Re: Tempting

Glad I did not go also, very happy that they did not go to the scrap metal merchants, but goes to show that they are still well sought after and collectors will go to great lengths to get one. I thought the buy of the day was the two engines for $700. Hopefully 3 new members with stories to share. t...

Re: Tempting

Gary, I'm sure they will go cheap, I looked at the logistics and to get the 3 of them back I think you would definitely have to put them on a semi trailer. I doubt there are any back loads coming from Broken Hill, but I might be wrong. I would love them to go to a collector not the scrap merchants. ...

Re: Sorry to say - another nail in the SPD coffin.

Great stuff this discussion, many informed views and opinions. If I may add an observation. Vehicles evolve as problems present themselves, my understanding is that the Haflinger has different mods and updates as issues presented themselves. I agree that the engineering is exceptional when I look at...

Re: Polycab and poly doors

Was at Micks place yesterday, picking up a few bits and pieces and the poly cab looked alright from what I saw of it but as Mick described. I must say his 700apt made me turn a shade of green and the LWB made it worse. Micks in Sydney Australia. regards Danny

Re: Sorry to say - another nail in the SPD coffin.

I tend to agree with Garry, garden hose with sprinkler, works on mud, sand and salt water, big problem in Australia if 4WD, on the beaches. Having spent most my working life in the Army where every vehicle is in mud, water, sand, dust and everything else. I thought the Haflinger is designed great. L...

Selling 1974 700ap

Hi Guys, I have a 1974 haffy, I want to part with. I have two and neither have an engine, so I am slowly putting one together an expensive project. I am in Sydney and any close by are welcome to come and see. I have taken what I need for one and do not really have the room for the other. Ideally thi...

Re: Front drivers seat right hand drive

haffie81.jpg So just to add further to the discussion, this is a photo Aussie Army Haffy seats. My platform does not have the brackets welded/ fitted to mount these seats. So will look for a swap/ buy from other aussie members. I have seen a photo which I can't find, that has basically the same sea...
