Simple question if someone knows the answer, I see cylinder heads for Steyr Puch 650's for sale on ebay more often than not. Are they the same for a haflinger. Regards Danny

Front drivers seat right hand drive
Hi Guys, looking at my haffy, the left hand seat folds forward has two rubbers on the back where it meets the body and two hinges on the front so it can fold forward to access the fuel cell. Now looking at the two seats I have for the front right seat are different as they have plates on the sides t...

Thanks Gary and John, have now gone through my haflinger CD and have realised that it is the rear most panel. I have all the other tin work. A photo would be much appreciated John. I think I saw one on ebay from Robert Prokschi. Will go back and have a look. Many thanks Danny

Re: My 2 Haffies
Good advice , I've done Austin Healey's, Series 12/3 and county landrovers, any number of trail and street bikes, Dune buggies. But I think these will be even more fun. Somewhere along the line a Army Haflinger seat got tossed in. happy to swap with someone who wants an original. Danny

Re: Some strange Haflinger bits
To me they look like tie down hooks for cargo, have seen a lot like these in my army days and was wondering if they were part of the tools/ fittings on the military Haffs. Danny

Re: My 2 Haffies
Hi Gary, both are 700APT, one is 3/74 and the other 6/74, they both have been used as spare parts for other Haffies, however are able to make a very good body out of the two, There has been some good work done on them in the past and I have plenty to work with. I have most of one engine in bits and ...

Re: Canvas frame
Hi Guys, Great discussion. Just thought I would toss in my 2 cents worth. If you are going to bend your own pipe with a hydraulic pipe bender may I suggest adding an inch or two to the desired length, weld a end closed fill sand and weld the other end closed. I have found that this will prevent the ...
