Re: Is the Forum Dying

I hope not :!:
I just purchased 7 more Hafi's

List
1 Poly cab
1 Canadian bug eye
1 Swiss
1 Austrian
3 Pathfinders (1 already sold)

Yeah - now I can delay my Hafi restoration even longer  ha ha

Re: For sale in Scotland

I purchased most of them (at least the good bits) as I wanted a spare motor
If you need something let me know and I will see if I have a spare or have one coming
Will take a while to get here mind you!
Cheers,
Dan

Replace it with an electronic VDO gauge and be done with bouncy needles and grease :)

Re: Which electric fuel pumps are you folks using?

Just got the response back from the UK guys, works out to be 170.00USD for two, shipped. Pricy...have to think about it. Heink - I'll give gowerlee a try also, see if their pricing is different. Tech - what carb are you using on your truck? Is it a Weber? Mine is on the Zenith but it used to run my...

Re: Which electric fuel pumps are you folks using?

From what I have been too the mechanical pump can eat up an HP+ and considering how few we have an electric pump can give a bit back.
Please correct me if I am wrong

Re: Small Steyr Puch Stickers

Don't know of any but if you Google Online Stickers you can find sites like Vista Print that can make them for you - you just need an image file, most likely you could get 20+ for a similar cost to someone selling 4 or 5

Most people do not use synthetic in the hubs because if it leaks it will ruin your brake shoes where dino oil will not
But up to each owner

Just saw this...good!
Hafi project slow and Canadian summer going fast
Between work, new puppy, BBQ comps and the Hafi - the Hafi work as suffered.
I am trying to kick start it now and get the running gear completed/restored before xmas - should be doable :D

Re: canvas hood windows

Any marine supplier should have various gauge clear vinyl for the windows
Make sure it is UV stable and it will not yellow or crack for years and years
