Re: Where does these parts fit
Thank you John, I could not figure out what it was. now I can see it, I think it was the jack that is shown horizontal that confused me.

Where does these parts fit
I found this on the swiss army vehicle web site, it says, Steyr Puch Haflinger 700 & 703 > 10-02 board tools.
Any one know what it is and where it fits.

Re: tool roll
Is this of any use to anyone
Here is a copy of the Pinzgauer tool roll holder that I mentioned. I was also given the measurements for the Tommy bar page 30/95 no15
The tommy bar is 10mm dia round bar, 250mm long with a 70mm portion turned down to 7mm then zinc plated.

Re: 5th & 6th seats
I think the seat belt law was either 1970 or 1972 in Australia. My Haf is a 1968 and I checked with the licencing centre a while ago and they confirmed I did not need them. The main cab bow behind the front seats does not have the fixing point to secure the belt at the top. ( Maybe I've gone a bit o...

Re: 5th & 6th seats
I have ordered the back rest straps and the holding straps etc from Haflinger Technik but they are struggling to get them shipped. I tried Autoquariat but they are having the same problem with shipping because of covid and brexit.

Re: Another strange bracket
I have just had these door check straps made, the pins are stainless steel and I have 1 straight and 1 bent as it looks that way in the parts book. If someone knows if they are different please let me know.

Re: Another strange bracket
Hi John,
Good call, I will check before I have some made. I did not realise that the back doors had provisions for check straps, I will check the next time I go in the shed.

I have been looking for information on which manufacturer supplied the tools for the roll up tool holder which is on page 30 95/0 of the parts book. I have seen photos of spanners etc made by Stubai of Austria, I note that they are listed as DIN 895 which the Stubai web site lists, but there are a c...

Re: fuel measure

Re: fuel measure
Thanks for all the reply and suggestions,I have never seen a vertical bracket / holder that fits between the fuel tank and battery box. I want to keep everything as original so unless there is a factory designed holder I will just keep checking the fuel tank.

Re: fuel measure
Hi Garry,
I have a Lwb Haf which has 2 tool boxes fitted where the jerry can fits on a Swb, as you can see in the attached older photos before I fitted the full canvas framework.

fuel measure
I remember seeing on eBay quite a while ago, a metal ruler type measuring stick for checking how much petrol was in the tank. Has anyone any photos of the ruler or better still, has one for sale.

Re: Another strange bracket
I seem to remember seeing a photo of the original strap somewhere with the metal pins for attaching them to the door and body work.
Has anyone got a photo they can post so I can make some, I have looked at the parts book but its not very clear.
