Re: Engineering flowchart
Very funny!
WD40 is a water displacer, Why do people think it is for lubricating things? That's what oil and grease are for. WD40 stopped the squeak from the rear hatch on my Smart car for all of a week, and an application of couple of drops of EP80 gear oil applied over a year ago is still preventing the re-occurrence of the squeak.
I have seen that diagram appear all over the Internet. Very similar one with a hammer instead of the WD40 also does the rounds.

Re: Engineering flowchart
WD 40 is a light lubricant and penetrant - also has the ability to displace water.

People have been known to spray it on fishing lures with success, too!

Dave,
Another useful work instruction!!!
WD40 is also very useful for tarting up hoses and other under bonnet plastic parts, just keep it off the fan belts!

I knew someone who worked at the place where they made it and they said it was 90% white spirit.
