Hi all,
I want to fit 3 point seat belts to my haflinger. I can't see how a retractor belt will clear the seat frames so looking at adjustable non-retractor belts. Could anyone measure the length of the lap/sash strap so I order the correct one?
**SHORT 1865mm **STD 2165mm, **LARGE 2565mm, **XLARGE 2965mm
From https://www.seatsafe.com.au/Hotrod-Cust ... sh/790-004
APV also make a short one measuring at 2m (Part number K2257)
My "piece of rope test" suggests I should get the short one from either place but just checking.
Thanks
Matt

Re: Seat belt question
Hi Matt,
I fitted retractable seat belts to Lurch without any issues. Other than making sure the belts are not twisted, there should be no problem if you have the later roll cage pipe (i.e. the thicker one)
See here:-
So much easier to use that fixed belts.

Re: Seat belt question
Thanks John,
So I think I have simply got my seat belt brackets flipped the wrong way. Doh! Retractors should fit as per your photo then. Thanks!

Re: Seat belt question
I would say that's probably why you thought there was no room.
If you want other photos just ask!

Re: Seat belt question
Yes brackets around the wrong way - I have a set of inertia reels to go in mine but I need to reinforce the hood bow first.
Drivers side - I will need a new bracket. Passenger side - should be OK
