Haffy on Ebay UK
Re: Haffy on Ebay UK
Me too, out of interest.
Not a lot of the original platform or front panel/foot well/engine cover etc. left. but if someone has deep enough pockets maybe a basis for a resto with a new platform etc?
Time will tell.

Buy it for £4000 ~ £4500, spend another £2000 ~ £2500 on a new platform, another £1000 or so over a period of time to sort out little issues, you would have a decent Haflinger by the end of that.
If you just wanted a "Haflinger" buggy to go offroading / Trials / farm work vehicle then just fix the things that are wrong with it as it stands. The existing platform look solid enough.

Just a small matter of a V5
Re: Haffy on Ebay UK
Should be able to get one of those particularly if you are not too bothered about it being a "Q" plate. An age related plate might be possible if it can be proven via the chassis number and the club that it was built in a particular year.

Re: Haffy on Ebay UK
Plus single vehicle type approval
Re: Haffy on Ebay UK
No reason to have to have single vehicle type approval as the chassis is Haflinger and if not changed, then body work changes do not show as being completely different.
Only obstacle really would be getting the V5 issued, but getting an age related plate shouldn't be that difficult.
