Coming to the end of a fabulous Treffen high up in the Salzkammergut region of Austria. There are 130 Haflingers here (and 2 Pinzgauers), with attendees from Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, 2 from the UK, and perhaps others too?
Really well organised (sometimes the sheer numbers made it difficult to keep everything going according to schedule), and some really nice driving through forest tracks etc. Stunning scenery!
Both evenings saw us all congregate in a large round tent that has been erected in the main square of Bad Goisern (where we stayed). Great food, good beer, loads of friends and lots of laughter!
Here are a couple of photos that will hopefully give you a flavour of the event ...

Looks like you had a good time. Only 2 from the UK? what happened to all those that were saying they were going to drive there? Obviously got lost some where in Europe!

Re: Bad Ischl Haflinger Treffen in Austria
All those Brits who said they were going are going to a different one (in Stiefern) - this was in Bad Ischl. I went to one in Stiefern a couple of years ago, and whilst fun the terrain is merely "hilly" rather than mountainous - thus less stunning, so I wanted to go to Bad Ischl this year.
