Sorry, not quite what you were expecting!
I can't finish working on the front hubs as it is too cold and I don't "really" need to do the work right now. So it will have to wait until the weather improves.
I had actually hoped to be using the Haflinger in this weather! Oh the Irony!

Now that does look cold - did you drop the who front end rather than just the hubs?

No, just took of the front hubs the same way you have.
Drain oil from hub.
Take off brake hose.
Take off steering joint.
Take out bottom swivel joint (king pin).
Take out top swivel joint (king pin).
PULL!
Just I have done both sides at the same time as it seemed prudent even though it was only the drivers side leaking oil. Turns out most things needed replacing!
